Unfortunately we had to temporarily close Northern Education Trust Dyke House Academy on Tuesday 29 June 2021, so all students were sent home.  This was due to a fault with the boiler, which meant the school had no hot water.  This has now been repaired so the school will reopen again as normal on Thursday 1 July 2021.

We are very sorry this situation occured, but we could not allow students to remain in school with no hot water, as appropriate hygiene/hand-washing could not be maintained as required, to mitigate against the spread of COVID-19.
